Who’s That Bird?
Fluff up your feathers and get ready to explore the birds of our area! The winter months are a great time to learn how to identify a few of the over 450 species of birds New York State’s diverse habitats support. Pammi Price - Environment & Natural Resources Program Coordinator, will offer tips and resources on bird identification to help you learn the birds in your neighborhood.
Grab your friends and family and join us to learn about watching birds in your own backyard or local park and how to participate in citizen science projects like Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Project Feeder Watch. Learning about how to identify our feathered friends will also help you get ready to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count from February 18-21, 2022.
Connect to birds, nature, and each other during this interactive virtual event!
This event is hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension. CCE of Columbia and Greene Counties is part of the Cooperative Extension land grant system, an educational partnership between County, State, and Federal governments that is administered in New York State through Cornell University.
